Baylor Baseball Announces 2024 Promotional Schedule
WACO, Texas – Baylor baseball announced its 2024 promotional schedule on Tuesday, featuring 30 home games with a designated theme or giveaway.
The Bears open the home slate on Tuesday, Feb. 20, vs. Lamar and will host Indiana for Force Out Hunger Weekend on Feb. 23-25. Fans who bring three canned goods can receive a free ticket to that day’s game. All canned goods will be donated to a local food bank following the weekend.
The first of three baseball bingo nights is on Wednesday, Feb. 28, vs. Abilene Christian. BU welcomes Oral Roberts on March 1-3 as part of Baylor Bold Weekend. Fans have the opportunity to rack up points and earn prizes through the Baylor Bold App all weekend long by attending various Baylor Athletics events.
DBU comes to Baylor Ballpark on March 5 for the second baseball bingo contest, while BU’s midweek matchup against Stephen F. Austin on March 12 will be $3 Ticket Tuesday.
Baylor’s home conference-opening weekend series vs. Texas Tech will feature its Go Gold game on Friday, March 15, and a St. Patrick’s Day-themed finale on Sunday, March 17. The first 500 fans in attendance on Friday will receive a gold Baylor Baseball t-shirt, while the Bears will don their green jerseys in Sunday’s series finale.
Another midweek contest on March 26 against UTSA marks another $3 Tuesday ahead of a weekend series vs. Cincinnati on March 28-30. That series features a “Nine Innings of Winning” game on Thursday, where fans in attendance can earn prizes all game long, Do Good Friday, sponsoring a youth sports equipment drive, and Faith & Family Day on Saturday’s series finale featuring testimonials from student-athletes and an on-field Easter Egg Hunt for ages 12 and under.
HCU comes to Waco for BU’s final $3 Tuesday of the year on April 2, before the Bears host Incarnate Word on April 5-7 for Service Appreciation Weekend in recognition of first responders, military members and teachers.
April 19-21 marks a fan-favorite weekend against Kansas, as Baylor will hold its annual 90’s Night to begin the series, followed by Texas Country Music Day and a Youth Sports Day at Baylor Ballpark. The first 250 fans to Friday night’s contest will receive a pair of 90’s-inspired sunglasses.
UT Arlington rounds out the third baseball bingo night on April 30, before Baylor hosts TCU on May 3-5 for a busy weekend at Baylor Ballpark. Bark in the Park will kick off the series, followed by Cub Club Day and a Cinco de Mayo-themed series finale.
The Bears will host a Finals Stress Relief Game on May 7, inviting students to spend a study break watching BU take on Tarleton. On May 16, Baylor holds its Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night ahead of Senior Day vs. UCF on Saturday, May 18.
