Gabe Hall Earns NFL Combine Invite
WACO, Texas – For the sixth consecutive year a Baylor football standout has been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, as defensive lineman Gabe Hall has earned a spot among the 321 prospects attending this year’s event, the NFL announced on Tuesday.
Hall will participate in the event from Feb. 26 – March 4 in Indianapolis, Ind., marking the 19th Baylor standout to earn an invite since 2019.
He had a monster week at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, playing for the National Team in the game on Feb. 3 in Mobile, Ala.
A 6-foot-6, 292-pound product of Waller, Texas, and Waller High School, Hall had a strong career for the Bears since arriving on campus for the 2019 season. He played in 47 games with 32 starts in his career, totaling 77 tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss and 12.5 sacks. Hall chipped in three pass breakups, forced a pair of fumbles, returned a fumble for a TD at Texas in 2022, and blocked a pair of kicks.
After playing in eight games as a true freshman in 2019, Hall redshirted the 2020 season, before having a breakout season in 2021 with seven tackles for a loss and six sacks. He had 36 tackles, including 5.5 for a loss and 4.5 sacks in 2022 and totaled 18 tackles, with 3.5 for a loss, and two sacks as a senior in 2023.
