The Bears couldn’t seem to make anything happen in their midweek matchup with the Sooners. BU was outscored in three out of four periods tonight, only besting OU in the fourth; and even then, only by two, 84-73.

Oklahoma utilized five double-figure scorers to dispatch the Bears who only saw three players in the double-digits. Baylor was led in scoring by Sarah Andrews with 14 points to her name by way of a pair of 3-pointers, a couple field goals and 4-4 from the charity stripe. Andrews was closely followed by Jana Van Gytenbeek who came off then bench and played 31 minutes for the Bears. Van Gytenbeek put up a team-high three 3s, a field goal and two from the line for 13 points. Dre’Una Edwards caps off the double-figure scorers for BU, also with 13 points. Edwards got there by way of a 3-points, four FGs and a pair of free throws.

Baylor was outdone in both assists and rebounds tonight. Off the boards the Sooners came down with it 45 times compared to the Bears 37. Oklahoma put up 13 second chance points tonight.

Baylor returns home on Sunday where they will host Texas Tech at 2:00 p.m.. Prior to the game, the Bears will retire Britney Griner’s jersey (42).

It just gets worse. People keep talking about talent. If there is talent, which I don't believe there is, then it has to be entirely a coaching issue, which I believe it is not at all.

To: IowaBear- Did I say this in a nice way that meets your approval?

looks like ou walks off to the sec with two straight b12 titles in their pocket. obviously hired a fine coach.

Baylor finally got around to posting the postgame presser, seems intentional at this point that it's 2 days late. Every other school in America posts them within a few hours of the game ending.

I thought we were back and Mack had replaced Kim with an upgrade

Not so fast on that prediction. OU still has to play UT. Good chance of ties at the top.

I cannot describe a more infuriating scenario than OU and UT tying as Big XII champions in their last year.

Don't count out the winner of this week's KSU-WV game to at least tie one or both of them.

I'm happy to root for K-State winning it.

Agree ... if it can't be us, at least a team staying in the Big12.

Is a 3-way tie possible?? I don't know if it's ever happened in the B12, or even any conference, but if so i'd be interested to know who/when!

Yes I think so if UT beats OU in Norman and WV wins out and UT and OU win the rest of their games. All would end up with 3 losses. Of course KSU is still in the picture as well. The scenario I mentioned above is not all that unlikely.
