The fifth-seeded Bears are set to take on the fourth-seeded Hokies this evening at 7 p.m. CT at Cassell Coliseum. VT is currently on a 26-game win streak in the Coliseum. 

The Hokies will be without Elizabeth Kitley, who suffered an ACL injury on March 3. 

The winner of today’s match will advance to the Sweet Sixteen and face the winner of No. 1 USC vs No. 8 Kansas; that game will be played at 9 p.m. CT Monday.

VT's coach Kenny Brooks made some interesting comments about the '21 matchup between Baylor and VT in the pregame:



Also notable that Brooks interviewed for Kentucky's HC opening last week. He might be gone after this year, though I feel like it's more likely he's just fishing for a raise.

Yes. This is ridiculous. There have been at least four cringe worthy calls. Them reviewing this to assign to a different player is also mind boggling.

That was clearly an over & back. Two games vs ACC teams & in both the officials seem to be biased for the east coast school. Ridiculous.
