Softball
• Baylor is coming off of a three-game sweep of the UCF Knights, where the pitching staff only gave up one run on the weekend with compiling back-to-back shutouts in the Sunday doubleheader.
• The Bears are preparing to head on the road to face Utah in a nonconference matchup on Wednesday, April 24, in Salt Lake City before continuing down the road to face BYU in Provo, Thursday-Saturday, April 25-27.

Acrobatics & Tumbling
• Top-seeded A&T will face host and eighth-seeded Fairmont State, in Fairmont, W.Va., on Thursday at the 2024 NCATA National Championship.
• The Bears will return to the gym where they earned their first National Championship and first under Felecia Mulkey, competing for their ninth title from April 25-28 at Joe Retton Arena.

Baseball
• BSB has won 10 of its last 13 games and hosts Sam Houston tonight before traveling to No. 21 West Virginia for a three-game weekend set.
• The Bears sit at 9-9 in conference play, tied for sixth in the league standings, with four weeks left.
• Baylor has scored eight or more runs in nine of its last 13 games, has tallied nine or more hits in 12 of its last 15 games, and has struck out 10 or more batters in eight of its last 14 games.
• Junior SS Tyriq Kemp is red hot at the plate, hitting .486 (17-for-35) over his last 11 games and reaching base at a .604 clip.
• The bottom third of the order of Cole Posey, Tyriq Kemp and Cortlan Castle has hit a combined .386 (39-for-101) with 15 extra-base hits and 29 RBIs since April 5.
• Junior OF Wesley Jordan owns a 29-game on-base streak, tied for the ninth-longest such streak by a Bear since at least 2003.
• Junior RHP Mason Marriott tallied his seventh start of the season, and fifth of his last six outings, of at least 5.0 IP and fewer than 3 earned runs on Friday vs. Kansas (5.1 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO).

Men’s Tennis
• Baylor men’s tennis fell vs. No. 3 TCU in the first round of the Big 12 Championships on Friday, earning the doubles point and starting strong in singles before falling on four singles courts.
• The Bears will await their NCAA Tournament fate, with the selection show on Monday. The Bears are projected to have a No. 40 ranking with the projected cut line at No. 47.
• Baylor is 18-11 on the year and are led in singles wins by freshman Devin Badenhorst (14-5).

Women’s Tennis
• Baylor women’s tennis went 1-1 in the Big 12 Championships in Oklahoma last week, posting a 4-1 win over No. 11 seed West Virginia, before falling vs. No. 18 Oklahoma on Thursday.
• The Bears will learn NCAA Tournament fate on Monday, currently sitting with a No. 35 rankings with the projected NCAA cut line at No. 42.
• Senior Miska Kadleckova leads the Bears with a 16-4 record, including a 15-4 mark on line 1.
Track & Field
• Hosted a rain-shortened Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco over the weekend, where the Bears took eight event wins
• Alexis Brown broke the program record by a centimeter in the women’s long jump, improving to 21-11.5
• The Bears have one final regular season meet on Saturday at Arizona for the Desert Heat Classic.

Men’s Golf
• Baylor men’s golf is competing at the Big 12 Championship, April 22-24 at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas. The final round will be televised on ESPN+.
• Johnny Keefer opened the tournament with a bogey-free 4-under 68 in the first round.
• BU will learn it’s NCAA regional destination a week from Wednesday on May 1 in a live selection show on Golf CHannel.

Women’s Golf
• Baylor women’s golf finished fourth at the Big 12 Championship
• Sera Hasegawatied for eighth, earning Big 12 All-Tournament Team honors with a 1-over 214.
• The Bears will learn their NCAA Regional Destination on Wednesday afternoon at 1pm on Golf Channel. It will mark BU’s seventh-straight regional appearance
