Energy. Edge. Execution.

These were the “three e’s” of Dave Aranda’s 2023 post-game press conferences for a seemingly listless team that lacked energy, didn’t play with edge, and didn’t execute.

“We brought up the energy,” Ketron Jackson said after Baylor’s loss at home to Utah, “We brought up the edge. We just have to execute and finish the game.” This quote could have been from nearly any game in 2023.

A football coach needing to develop an edge going into his fifth season is like saying that a carpenter needs to learn how to use a hammer and nails. You know you have a serious problem when you're at that point

Most organizational cultures are a reflection of their leaders personality. Thats a bad thing for Baylor if we want this team to develop an edge.
