Baylor WR Monaray Baldwin Ranked No. 41 on CFB Freaks List
Baylor senior wide receiver Monaray Baldwin was ranked No. 41 on Bruce Feldman and The Athletic’s CFB Freaks List. The Freaks List started in the summer of 2005 and has been one of Feldman’s most popular pieces leading up to the start of the college football season in recent memory.
“Baldwin, No. 42 on last year’s Freaks List, didn’t bench 400 pounds like he did in 2023, but 365 is still more than double his body weight,” Feldman said. “His GPS speed is up to 23.16 mph."
Baldwin led the Bears in catches (38) and receiving yards (623) last fall and collected four receiving touchdowns. In three seasons, Baldwin has totaled 72 receptions for 1,195 yards and eight touchdowns with a 16.6 career yards per reception average.
He is poised to be one of Baylor’s top receivers in 2024 and should have a strong senior season under first-year offensive coordinator Jake Spavital.
In a game against No. 9 Oklahoma State in 2022, the Killeen native reached 22.8 miles per hour on a 71-yard touchdown grab. That’s the fastest time of any college player in the last two years. Baldwin is also listed as the fourth fastest wide receiver in EA Sports College Football 2025 with 98 speed.
