Defending Utah: Limiting Big Plays, Stopping Cam Rising and More

From a points perspective, a lot rides on Baylor’s offense. If the Bears play great offensively this game, control the ball, don’t have many three-and-outs, etc., I would feel very good about Baylor’s defense holding Utah to 24 points or less.

What We Learned Against Their FCS Opponent

Statistically, Utah had an okay performance against the Thunderbirds, achieving a 47% success rate and 7.88 yards per play. Those numbers would qualify for a very good performance against a good FBS defense, but against an FCS opponent, it’s merely right. It's not poor enough to raise serious alarm bells but enough to make you dig a little deeper.
