IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference released the 2024-25 conference slate on Thursday morning.

The Bears, whose home and away delegations were announced in June, begin league play at Kansas on Dec. 21 in Lawrence for the seventh Big 12 opener on the road in the last 10 years. With the new 16-team group, BU starts conference play before Christmas for the first time in Big 12 history and the first time in the 43-year span of women’s basketball in the NCAA.

Oklahoma State rings in the new year at Foster Pavilion on Jan. 1 before Baylor plays all four new members of the Big 12 Conference in four consecutive games.

BU welcomes Colorado back to Waco for the first time since 2010 on Jan. 4 then travels to face Arizona in Tucson and Arizona State in Tempe on Jan. 8 and 11, respectively. Right back in Bear Country, Utah pays its inaugural visit to Foster Pavilion on Jan. 14 one season after BU’s 7-point win over the then-No. 4 Utes in the Ferrell Center.

The Bears close out the month of January by hosting Houston on Jan. 17 ahead of trips to TCU on Jan. 26 and UCF on Jan. 29.

Cincinnati comes to Waco for the first time on Feb. 2 before the Bears also host BYU (Feb. 8), West Virginia (Feb. 11) and Iowa State (Feb. 22). On the road, Baylor travels to Houston (Feb. 5), Texas Tech (Feb. 15), Colorado (Feb. 19) and Kansas State (Feb. 24).

Baylor hosts TCU for the final conference game of the season on March 2 ahead of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship on March 5-10 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Game times and TV designations will be released at a later date by the conference office.
