In The Web: What 'They' Are Saying About Baylor in Week 11
The vibes in Waco have shifted faster than the weather this fall as Baylor finally slayed TCU and is riding a three-game winning streak heading into the second bye week of the season. A heavy dose of Bryson Washington (RFr.) is exactly what the Frogs saw on Saturday night, as he became the first Baylor running back to rush for four touchdowns in a game since Terrance Ganaway in 2011.
Washington’s performance earned him Big 12 honors, as well as recognition from the folks over at PFF.

You can start to see the vision that head coach Dave Aranda has for this program. The Bears aren’t flashy and still have many areas for improvement, but they absolutely believe in the message. Outsiders are starting to take notice of the mindset shift in Waco as well, as Baylor was named one of Brandon Marcello’s most impressive teams in Week 10.

The Bears also embodied the look good, feel good, play good mantra against TCU while properly executing a blackout and rocking their Anthracite uniforms. Baylor was rewarded for its drip by earning UniSwag's uniform of the week award.

The statewide narrative around Baylor is also beginning to shift after its recent success. Baylor was near the bottom of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football power poll for most of the season, but they now sit inside the top 5.

Baylor (5-4, 3-3) is now just one game away from becoming bowl-eligible, and with West Virginia, Houston and Kansas remaining on the schedule, one more win and even winning out isn’t unrealistic. The Bears will use this week to rest up and prepare for the season's final push before heading to Morgantown to face the Mountaineers at 3:00 p.m. at Milan-Pusker Stadium.
