Baylor has landed a commitment from 2026 four-star cornerback Jamarion Vincent‍ of Waco (TX) Connally High School following a Junior Day visit over the weekend. Vincent (6-foot-2, 165 pounds) is ranked as the No. 139 prospect in the country by 247Sports and the No. 18 player in Texas.

Vincent chose Baylor over offers from Nebraska, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and others. He is the second commitment in the last two days for Baylor’s 2026 class as he joins Waco University wide receiver, London Smith‍.

BAYLOR 2026 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST

Vincent told SicEm365 recently that he planned to commit in July, but his timeline moved up nearly six months after his visit to campus over the weekend.

"It was great,” Vincent said. “My favorite part was how they talked about person over player, and that's what matters most to me and the coaches. I got to talk to [Paul Gonzales], the new cornerbacks coach, and I knew him from TCU. I love that he is at Baylor now, and he is a great person. He said next time I come, he will tell me more about my fit at Baylor because they haven't talked too much about football yet as coaches.”

Vincent is Baylor’s fifth commitment in the recruiting class, which ranked No. 27 nationally ahead of his pledge to Dave Aranda’s staff.
