Baylor is expected to promote Aaron Hunt to its general manager role within the football program, per Matt Zenitz on Twitter/X. SicEm365 has not confirmed the report.

Most recently, Hunt was an assistant AD for player personnel. He joined the Baylor staff in January 2021. Hunt has played a significant role on the recruiting trail for the Bears' resurgence in the 2025 class and strong start to the 2026 class.

During his collegiate career at Texas Tech, Hunt was an All-American defensive lineman and holds the Red Raiders' career sack record (34).

Before moving to Waco, Hunt served as director of 306 Elite Performance and Development in his hometown of Denison, Texas, a non-profit organization he helped found in 2014. The organization operated camps and after-school programs that organized football, basketball, and track leagues for youths in seventh grade and below.
