Colorado State wide receiver Louis Brown IV has signed with Baylor following his official visit last week. He joins Alabama transfer Kobe Prentice and Texas State transfer Kole Wilson as the Bears' third wide receiver addition this offseason.
TRANSFER PORTAL COMMITMENT LIST
He transferred from Colorado State to San Diego State for the 2024 season and then back to Colorado State before entering the portal on April 17, following spring practices.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect posted 620 yards and three touchdowns on 38 receptions this past season at San Diego State.
As a sophomore at Colorado State, he totaled 481 and five touchdowns.
The coaching staff targeted multiple outside wide receivers during the winter portal cycle but were unable to land one. Now, they have secured a commitment from Brown IV, who will fill the role the coaching staff wanted to address all offseason.
Brown IV played a career-high 570 snaps at outside wide receiver this past season, and his receiving numbers, production and grades all improved significantly, according to Pro Football Focus.
He has one season of eligibility remaining.
