Arizona State Offensive Lineman Connor Cameron Commits to Baylor
Arizona State offensive lineman Connor Cameron has committed to Baylor following his official visit this week. He becomes the second offensive line addition through the transfer portal this offseason, joining Louisville transfer Joe Crocker.
“It was amazing,” he said. “The biggest thing that stood out to me was how genuine and transparent the staff is, and the hospitality was great.”
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound prospect with an 83-inch wingspan did not play a snap this season for Arizona State during his redshirt season. But the Baylor coaching staff sees a tremendous amount of untapped potential left to develop.
“They liked my measurables and versatility at both sides of tackle,” he said. “Because I have four years left of eligibility, they feel they can mold me.”
Cameron will be a backup prospect for at least this season before getting the chance to compete at both tackle positions, which was an area the coaching staff wanted to address this offseason. The emergence of Kaden Sieracki (RJr.) allowed the coaching staff to focus on adding more of a developmental prospect instead of investing heavily in a 2025 starter.
