Baylor baseball is set to compete in the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, entering the tournament as the No. 10 seed. The Bears will take the field on Wednesday, May 21, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
In their opening matchup, the Bears (33-21, 13-17 Big 12) will face No. 7-seed Oklahoma State (27-22, 15-12) at 4 p.m. The winner will move on to play No. 2-seed Kansas (42-14, 20-10) in the quarterfinals on Thursday, May 22, also scheduled for 4 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPNU and streamed live via ESPN+.
A pair of wins would send Baylor to the semifinals on Friday, May 23, where it would play the 7:30 p.m. night game against one of three potential opponents: No. 3 TCU, No. 6 Kansas State or No. 11 Houston. The championship game is slated for Saturday, May 24, at 6 p.m.
This marks Baylor’s first appearance in the Big 12 Championship since 2022, as the program aims to earn its first tournament win since 2019. Historically, the Bears hold a 37-43 record in the event and are 2-6 all-time against Oklahoma State.
