Southern wide receiver Tyler Kirkwood has signed with Baylor as the Bears attack the transfer portal once again for a wide receiver.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect posted 16 receptions for 206 yards to go along with 37 yards rushing. In four seasons, he has totaled 487 yards and two touchdowns on 35 career receptions.

The New Orleans (LA) Holy Cross prospect was a three-star recruit in the 202 class. He held offers from Boston College, Houston, Memphis, Tulane and Louisiana Tech among others.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Same as the other guy, maybe a project with potential, maybe special teams.

I mean, it would be nice to have some guys committed to sticking around for a while and growing with the program. Same with basketball. It's a shame player development within a program has become so problematic in college sports.
