Byron Nelson Tight End Parker Almanza Commits to Baylor

Trophy Club (TX) Byron Nelson High School 2026 tight end Parker Almanza‍ has committed to Baylor over offers from Texas State, UNLV, UAB, North Texas and Arkansas State, among others. He becomes the seventh overall commit in the class and the first tight end.

BAYLOR 2026 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST

Almanza had a breakout junior season, posting 758 yards and nine touchdowns. He profiles well as a pass catcher in this system at the tight end position.

Baylor tight ends coach Jarrett Anderson and the staff built a strong relationship with Parker over the last year and a half while recruiting him and his older brother Leo, who signed in the 2025 class.

He is scheduled to take his official visit to Baylor from June 20 to 22.
