Orem (UT) High School 2026 tight end Kai Wesley has committed to Baylor following his official visit this weekend. He becomes the second tight end in the class, joining Parker Almanza.

“I just felt Baylor was the best fit for me,” he said following his official visit. “The coaching styles, player development, education, and community/town feel all were great. With some of the other tight end’s being older, there are opportunities to come in and develop, and learn from an older tight end room, and make an impact when I’m ready.”
Wesley has visited Baylor multiple times over the past year, and Baylor tight ends coach Jarrett Anderson went to see him in Utah in January.
The 6-foot-8, 240-pound prospect is strong with the ball in his hands and possesses a natural feel to create yards after the catch. He is deadliest over the middle of the field in the receiving game due to his huge frame and long arms. Wesley is also a willing blocker on film.
Wesley chose Baylor over offers from Washington, Florida State, Utah, BYU, Boise State, UCF, Arizona State and Arkansas, among others.
He is a consensus three-star prospect and top 15 recruit in the state of Utah.
