Mission Viejo (CA) Saddleback College defensive tackle Aleki Manutai has committed to Baylor. The 6-foot-2, 290-pound prospect is set to enroll in the next week or two before the 2025 season begins.

Baylor defensive line coach Inoke Breckterfield offered two days ago, and Manutai committed almost immediately in order to get on campus as quickly as possible.

As a true freshman at Saddleback College, he posted 14 tackles and 2.5 sacks in just eight games.

He will have four years to play three seasons, which means he could redshirt this fall.

I like this guy! His first name, Aleki, means "warrior" or "defender of man"

He looks massive compared to his peers at the Community College level. Hope we can develop him well long term. Wild that we reached out to him out of the blue.
