Aranda's Call Sheet: Defense Improving, But Not Enough as Bears Prepare for Big Test

Following Baylor’s sloppy 42-7 win over Samford, sixth-year head coach Dave Aranda was asked during his Monday press conference whether his defense is truly progressing after holding the Bulldogs to just 195 total yards and a single touchdown.

He answered, “Every day, I think it’s going to take intentional focus and effort by coaches, players, all of it, to get to where we need to be. I think there’s some improvement there, but certainly not enough.
