Aranda said that the team is now in “fourth-and-one” mode, knowing that every remaining game is a “must-win,” starting with this weekend against No. 21 Cincinnati.
Dave Aranda was asked on Monday at his weekly press conference if his defense is taking the necessary steps forward and heading in the right direction after limiting the Bulldogs to 195 total yards and one score.
“It’s not anything that’s really clear,” Aranda said. “There are times where everything has to go right to get off the field, and with respect to all the offenses out there, it shouldn’t be that hard.”
Instead of a traditional spring game, the Baylor football program wrapped up its spring camp with an open practice last Saturday that featured a competitive showcase of drills.
