I feel for Powledge having his resume somewhat tarnished by this defense, after losing out on a head coaching gig.

Maybe Baylor almost owes it to him to just totally hand the defense over to him and let him do things his way after being immersed in Aranda's system for a couple of years. Not sure how much control he actually has or if Dave has relinquished any from last season. Apparently Matt was a rising type figure before arriving at Baylor.

The coaching profession can be rough. Perception is not always reality. You're only as good as your last job, seemingly.

Dave has ZERO business making Offensive calls. In fact, he is statistically the worst P4 Defensive Coordinator....also the highest paid. I thought that Texas did less with more....

please another coordinator change to mask the 50-50 record over six years, the one bowl win that required six NFL draft picks that his predecessor recruited. A 1-5 record against our rival, at least in this significantly weakened B 12 that we have no chance of ever winning again.
