Baylor Soccer’s Augustyn, Isgrig Earn 2025 Big 12 Soccer All-Tournament Team
IRVING, Texas – No. 23 Baylor Soccer is represented by defender Hannah Augustyn and midfielder Tyler Isgrig on the 2025 Big 12 Soccer All-Tournament Team, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.
The recognition marks the first time that the Bears have had players earn All-Tournament Team honors since Sarah King, Julie James, Jackie Crowther and Taylor Moon made the team in 2018.
The Bears advanced to the semifinals of this year’s Big 12 Tournament after a thrilling quarterfinal win over No. 4 seed Texas Tech, where a second-half equalizer from Augustyn sent the match into overtime before BU prevailed in penalty kicks. Baylor’s run came to an end in the semifinals against BYU, who went on to capture the Big 12 Tournament title at Betty Lou Mays Field.
Isgrig was named Big 12 Midfielder of the Year and earned First Team All-Big 12 honors earlier this month, highlighting a standout regular season that featured nine goals off three braces.
Augustyn has been a key piece of Baylor’s defensive success all season, helping the Bears allow just four goals at home in 2025. Her impact extended to the offensive side when she delivered a clutch equalizer in the Big 12 quarterfinal, giving BU the opportunity to advance beyond regulation.
The Bears now await their fate, to be announced Monday afternoon in the NCAA Soccer Selection Show, live on NCAA.com at 3 p.m. CT.
