Buggs 13 RB in first half. Only one foul on Bella.

Offense is still brutal. Feels like Buggs is forcing jumpers now. Her points used to come from Jada and Sarah passes. That valve is gone now. Bizarre to have Deng come in but not touch the ball for like 5 minutes.

Need to put all Bench in. Starters just goofing off. Let girls play who want to gain some time.

Deng has a nice shot. Wonder why waited until Q4 to put Nelms in?

I would like to know why Nelms does not get to play much. Is it a discipline issue? Or ?? I think he has great potential.

In post-game press conference, CNC implied very heavily that the issue regarding Nelms and playing time has to do with her practice habits.

Unless it was a disciplinary issue and/or she has the worst practice habits on the planet, I see no reason why Nelms shouldn't be getting more playing time.

In the brief time she was on the court today, it was clear that she made an immediate impact.

Whether it was sealing her player off so that Scott could drive in for an easy layup, or finding the open player for an easy assist from the top of the key, or positioning herself properly for rebounds, or calling out assignments to her teammates on the defensive end, she was finding ways to contribute in a major way.

And it seemed like the team played much more sound and under control when she was in.

She's similar to Vonleh, in that she'll likely give you some consistent production down low. And we'll need that when the shots aren't falling on certain nights, and you've got to find a way to manufacture points and offense.

While KJ gives you more length, and is our best shot-blocker, I would still find a way to get Nelms on the court more - even if you have to play them both together from time to time.

Hopefully the limited playing time we saw today was a one-off, and not the norm.
