Baylor rising senior EDGE Matthew Fobbs-White will enter the transfer portal, according to social media.

Fobbs-White played in all 12 games this season and totaled 19 tackles, one sack, three quarterback hits, 29 quarterback hurries and 33 quarterback pressures. He had a 72.2 pass-rush grade, according to Pro Football Focus, which was the second-highest on the team.

Before transferring to Baylor last offseason, Fobbs-White posted 21 tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble and 22 quarterback pressures during his sophomore season at Tulane; he played sparingly as a true freshman. He was a three-star prospect out of Neville High School and was rated the 22nd-best prospect in Louisiana.

The transfer portal window this offseason runs from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16.

Welp if you must know, very highly regarded coming in, only to play for one of the worst defenses in the country.

Theres a disconnect somewhere there

I guess, but there's a paradigm across football where there's barely any point paying attention to the roster from one year to the next since it's going to be completely different. That's kind of where I'm at

I'm with you on that...and it sucks. It's just not the same as it used to be where we learned these kids and got to watch their growth from freshman to Senior year. It will never be like that again unfortunately.

We really are just cheering for laundry more and more.
