STILLWATER, Okla. – No. 22 Baylor women’s basketball (11-3) travels north to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowgirls (12-2) and their formidable offense. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Gallagher-Iba Arena. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Oklahoma State has maintained its preseason Barttorvik ranking, but the Cowgirls are still searching for a notable win, with only a single upper-quad victory. Baylor is looking to pick up its second-strongest win this season.

Oklahoma State has done a good job of avoiding mid-range jumpers this season. The Baylor defense has been one of the best at forcing shots from in between the rim and the 3-point line. It should be an interesting Xs-and-Os battle between the teams.

  • Baylor Barttorvik Rank: 30

Bears up by 2 end of 1

Would be 6 or 8 more if we did better making our lay-ups

Defending decent in the halfcourt. Turnovers hurt us with transition buckets for OSU.

Cowgirls on 9-0 run. Lawd, let us hit a bunny!

Q2 not going well. They have heated up and we have gone cold.

Like Chelsea Whitaker said after the TT game, no adjustments

Gals scrapped back and are (only) down by 3 at the half.

Definitely momentum was in our favor at the end of the half.

Maybe some mild foul trouble for OSU.

Deng and Johnson struggling a bit with the speed of this game

down by 12 about 1/2 way through 3rd.

They are simply executing better than us. We got called for like 3 illegal screens in a row and OSU scored like every time.

This is coaching… this isn't NIL. Baylor's roster is better than Okie Sts

CNC starting to look lost on the sideline. This team can't score. I know Deng is a liability on defense - but she needs to play more for her scoring. No real scoring threats besides Scott. Still trying to figure out how DLB and Fontleroy have regressed so much offensively.

CNC should tell them to take it to the basket every possession with OSU's foul situation.

they are still trying but down 19. OSU a lot more polished than us. We are sloppy in the little things (like rebounding, lay-ups, etc) and they add up over the game.

12 headed to the 4th. This is a big 10 minutes imo

little mini comeback last 2 minutes of the 3rd. down 12 end of 3.

NC put in a lot of subs who played hard and got us back in it a little.

Down by 6 with 6 min left!

Nelms working hard down low and can hit lay-ups. She uses her body well.

VGB with a big 3.

Nelms got tired and fouled x 2 but abraham with a big block and clutch jumper

Let's give them credit for this comeback! They could have folded when down 19.

Yes, I'm glad I watched till the end.

OSU went cold but our defense had something to do with that.

We kept grinding out the points and pulled away in the end.

Announcers said Deng was +27 in her limited time!

JVG had a great game and now we have Ella to spell her and Scott.

I do think Nelms earned herself some more playing time with todays performance.

Lots of credit on a great comeback. Ella Brow/Helms with an impressive 5 minutes or so at end of 3rd/start of 4th to give the starters a blow and great to see JVG play aggressive down the stretch.
