Baylor Continues Offensive Line Rebuild With Commitment From Texas Transfer Nate Kibble
Texas offensive lineman Nate Kibble has committed to Baylor out of the transfer portal. He becomes the second offensive lineman to commit in the 2026 transfer portal cycle, joining UAB offensive tackle Logan Moore.
Kibble, standing at 6-foot-3, 330 pounds, played in just three games and totaled 38 snaps with the Longhorns this season as a redshirt freshman. Although it was in limited playing time, Pro Football Focus gave Kibble an 80.3 pass-block grade and 57.3 rush-block grade.
Kibble was a three-time all-district honoree and four-year varsity starter at Atascocita High School in Houston, Texas. He was a three-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class and was ranked as the No. 40 interior offensive lineman nationally and No. 95 overall player in the state of Texas.
The Bears recently promoted Austin Woods to full-time offensive line coach after serving as the co-interim offensive line coach over the back half of the 2025 season following the departure of Mason Miller.
Baylor has lost almost all of its offensive line depth to the transfer portal or graduation in recent weeks and desperately needs to continue adding bodies up front. Kibble will have three years of eligibility remaining.
