CLEMSON, S.C. – Baylor softball dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 24 Clemson on Sunday afternoon at McWhorter Stadium, closing the Clemson Classic with a 2-2 record.
Faith Piper, Sa’Mya Jones and Kaygen Marshall all collected hits on Sunday, but the Bears were unable to capitalize going 0-for-2 with runners in scoring position.
Despite the loss, the Bears were led by another strong performance in the circle from sophomore Cambree Creager, who capped a solid weekend at the Clemson Classic.

Clemson opened the scoring with a run in the first inning to dig the Bears into an early hole.
The BU offense responded putting runners on the corners with just one out in the top of the second, but Olivia Buettner was caught stealing after an Abi Flores strikeout, which ended the threat.
Clemson responded with another run in the second, pushing across the final run of the game on a solo home run in the fifth.
