The 2026 NFL Draft is set for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. NFL.com Draft analyst Chad Reuter came out with a four-round 2026 NFL mock draft over the weekend, and a couple of Baylor Bears were projected to go inside the top 140 picks.
Josh Cameron - Round 3, Pick 80 (Baltimore Ravens)
Josh Cameron would be the first Baylor wide receiver selected since Tyquan Thornton was taken in the second round by the New England Patriots. He would join Thornton, Denzel Mims, Jalen Hurd and Corey Coleman as receivers drafted from Baylor over the last decade. A round three landing spot would be ideal for Cameron and give him a great shot at sticking around in the league for a while. His ability on special teams and just his leadership should keep him in the league as well.
The Baltimore Ravens would be an interesting landing spot, and I think it would be a strong one. He would get to play with Lamar Jackson, who is one of the most electric quarterbacks in the league, and this team has been looking for a second wide receiver to put next to Zay Flowers for multiple seasons. Cameron would certainly slide into that room and likely find himself on the field early, specifically due to his ability in contested catch situations. The knock on this landing spot is how little the Ravens throw the football, and the fact that Flowers’ play style is a YAC guy, which is a strength for Cameron as well, so they may occupy similar space.
- My preferred landing spots for Cameron: Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Commanders, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants
Michael Trigg - Round 4, Pick 136 (New Orleans Saints)
If Michael Trigg is drafted, he would be the first Baylor tight end selected since 1979 when Ronnie Lee was picked in the third round. I don’t count Rico Gathers, who went in the sixth round to the Cowboys, because he didn’t play for the football team. Either way, this would be a massive step in the right direction for the Bears.
The New Orleans Saints are a great landing spot for Trigg and would be a top option due to the depth chart. Currently, the Saints have Juwan Johnson starting for them, and he is solid, but not someone who I think is passable for Trigg. Plus, he could replace him soon if he decides to leave or the Saints don’t re-sign him after his contract is up. I also like that the Saints have a young quarterback in Tyler Shough, whom they are trying to build around, which would give Trigg a chance to have a locked-in signal-caller for a good chunk of his early career. New Orleans gives him a chance to develop and get on the field early on a team trying to rebuild. The fit is pretty strong here.
- My preferred landing spots for Trigg: Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens
These are the only two prospects I expect to go in the first four rounds, but I do think quarterback Sawyer Robertson will get drafted at some point after this. There could be a surprise selection like offensive lineman Omar Aigbedion or wide receiver Kole Wilson, but I think those guys will end up undrafted free agents with camp invites to try to make an NFL roster.
