Georgia Transfer Trinity Turner Commits to Baylor WBB, Bolsters Nicki Collen's Backcourt
Georgia transfer Trinity Turner has announced her commitment to Baylor women’s basketball, according to her social media. Turner joins Utah transfer Reese Ross and Ole Miss transfer Tianna Thompson as the third addition in Baylor’s transfer portal haul.
The 5-foot-6 guard averaged 10.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.7 steals in her sophomore campaign with the Lady Bulldogs. She shot 39.2% from the field, 27.2% from beyond the arc and 73.4% from the free-throw line.
Turner is projected to be the Bears’ starting point guard and will play alongside returning star Taliah Scott. Turner posted a 26.0% assist percentage this past season and ranked third on Georgia in RAPM.
Turner, a former top-100 recruit, will have two years of eligibility left.
