Baylor’s running back room was the most unlucky position group on its roster a season ago. You can make arguments for another position or two, but the halfbacks were hit hard by the injury bug.

First, Dawson Pendergrass injured his foot during fall camp and missed the entire season. This was after he totaled 774 yards of offense with seven touchdowns during his strong sophomore season.
