WACO, Texas – Baylor University has announced the exciting lineup of artists set to perform at Baylor Backyard Live, a new game day concert series at all six home football games this fall outside McLane Stadium on Touchdown Alley. An energetic element of Baylor Athletics’ Fan First Era, the concert series – which is free for all fans to attend – will elevate the atmosphere and Baylor Fan experience surrounding Baylor Football gamedays.
The inaugural lineup for Baylor Backyard Live includes the multi-talented Waco band Suede with its mix of R&B, funk, rock and jazz; high-energy 80s cover band Members Only; rising Texas country singer Wynn Williams; emerging Americana and country group, the Baylor Alumni-led Graham St. Clair Band; classic rock-and-roll from 2026 Best of Waco winner and longtime favorite Sloppy Joe Band; and an exciting headliner for the Sept. 26 Baylor-Colorado game to be announced on Aug. 3.

- Saturday, Sept. 19: Members Only – Baylor vs. Louisiana Tech (Family Weekend)
- Saturday, Sept. 26: Headliner to be announced Aug. 3! – Baylor vs. Colorado
- Saturday, Oct. 17: Wynn Williams – Baylor vs. TCU
- Saturday, Nov. 7: Graham St. Clair Band – Baylor vs. Iowa State
- Saturday, Nov. 21: Sloppy Joe Band – Baylor vs. Texas Tech
Located in the Baylor Backyard Tailgate area at Touchdown Alley, Baylor Backyard Live concerts will typically begin immediately following the Bear Walk, approximately one hour and 45 minutes prior to kickoff, and will run for one hour at each home game. Exact start times for each concert will be subject to kickoff time.
“We’ve seen a convergence of college football and music across the country,” said Jason Cook, Baylor's vice president of marketing and communications and chief marketing officer. “Live music is a great way to bring people together in a fun, energetic environment. We’re excited to bring this energetic lineup of performers as part of Baylor’s new Fan First focus.”
Alongside the excitement of the Baylor Backyard Live concert series, Baylor Athletics brought tailgating operations back in-house, restoring the vibrancy, individuality and unmistakable buzz that make Baylor gamedays special for students, alumni and the Waco community. In addition to the live music, the concert series will feature a local DJ to add to the energy at Touchdown Alley.

More concerts added this fall!
In addition to the Baylor Backyard Live concerts, Howdy at the Hurd will take place Friday, Sept. 25, to help kick off the Bears’ Big 12 opener against Colorado at McLane Stadium the following day. Baylor fans are invited to this free concert outside of the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center featuring a national country artist to be announced in early August.
A tradition at Baylor since 1962, Pi Beta Phi's Howdy serves as the “first official Texas welcome to campus” for Baylor students.

- 8-time ACM and 7-time CMA Group of the Year Old Dominion, one of mainstream country music’s most popular live groups, Friday, Sept. 18, at Foster Pavilion, kicking off Family Weekend at Baylor ahead of Saturday’s Baylor vs. Louisiana Tech football game at McLane Stadium;
- Howdy at the Hurd, Friday, Sept. 25, a free concert outside of the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center featuring a national country artist to be announced in early August; and
- Country music’s next big star Braxton Keith, Friday, Oct. 2, at Foster Pavilion, and
- Silobration’s kickoff concert featuring critically acclaimed indie rock/folk band Mt. Joy, Thursday, Oct. 22, at Foster Pavilion, presented by Magnolia with Baylor University.
