Newsflash: Season Expectations During Fall Camp Don't Mean Much

Another August, another fall camp. High expectations? They are non-existent under Dave Aranda after what looked to be a promising 2025 season fell flat. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone with high expectations. Not from its own fans. Not from opposing fans. Not from the media.

But truthfully, 16 years of data points tell us that might just be where Baylor wants to be. Even in the peak years, only once did Baylor truly win when it was supposed to win big.
