IRVING, Texas – Baylor's Grace White was named the Big 12's Freshman of the Week after scoring her third career goal last Thursday in a 2-0 win over LSU in Baton Rouge. Her goal, scored in the 35th minute, proved to be the game-winner, already her second game-winning goal just six matches into her college career.

The honor is the first of White's career and the second for Baylor this season. Callie Conrad won Player of the Week earlier this year after Baylor opened with wins over Arkansas and Texas A&M.

The Big 12 also named Colorado's Reagan Kotschau Offensive Player of the Week and Texas Tech's Kylie Bahr Defensive Player of the Week. Colorado's Brooke Goerish earned both Goalkeeper of the Week and a share of Freshman of the Week alongside White.

Baylor is 5-1 heading into the final weekend of non-conference play. The Bears host Marquette at 7 p.m. Thursday before traveling to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to face Oral Roberts at 7 p.m. CT Sunday at the Case Soccer Complex. Both games will stream live, with the home match on ESPN+ and the road match on the Summit League Network.

Admission to Betty Lou Mays Field is free throughout the regular season, and fans will receive a free white Baylor cap while supplies last. Thursday's game is a "White Out," with fans encouraged to wear white.
