Baylor football’s conference opener against Colorado is officially set for 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 26, at McLane Stadium. The matchup will be nationally televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes have started the season with a 2-0 record, following a 14-13 road victory over Georgia Tech and a 52-21 home win over Weber State. Before heading to Waco, Colorado will close non-conference play on the road against Northwestern.
The Buffaloes are looking to make a major turnaround after a frustrating 3-9 (1-8) campaign in 2025. Meanwhile, the Bears will look to start off conference play with a win for the first time since 2022.
During the contest, Baylor will introduce a new throwback uniform combination, paying homage to the 1980s and early 1990s. It’s the first matchup between the programs since 2024, when the Bears lost in overtime in Boulder to Colorado, 38-31.
