A win is a win, but that was ugly.

Baylor is 3-1 and starts off conference play 1-0 for the first time since 2022. Mission accomplished. It’s important to note that coming out of this one.

On the flip side, that game built zero momentum. The team was sloppy again, lost the turnover battle, had 10 penalties for 84 yards, missed 12 tackles and started so slow.

Just the general impression about this team so far, I'm thinking they are 50/50 against the next four, and probably lucky to get one of the last four, maybe two if they really step up. That would be about 3-5ish the rest of the way.

Six or seven wins seems like a reasonable expectation.

Hopefully, we get a much better version of DJ and more consistent running game and better preparation and adjustments and beat those expectations.

Beating TCU is imperative.

This is concerning: lost the turnover battle. I thought it was a tie 1:1, but the concern still remains. We haven't won a turnover battle all season. Auburn 3-3, -2 v PVAMU, LaTech 2-2, Colorado 1-1.

Our defense has caused six turnovers, which is pretty good for four games. Three against Auburn was really nice, but we've turned the ball over 7 times. 5 of those due to qb play (Lagway 3, Bennett 2).

I think we'll need to win it Saturday to win the game.
