Between The Lines: Baylor Hits the Bye Week in Stride After Breakthrough in Tempe

The 55-19 win over Arizona State in Tempe is the first night this season when Baylor’s two halves looked like the same team. Through four games, the identity was mostly defensive. Against Arizona State, it became complementary: a defense that still holds opponents under 20, and an offense that can actually cash that in. The CFBstats season line through Oct. 3 makes that split measurable rather than impressionistic.
