Baylor football opened as a 6.5-point favorite in its rivalry matchup against TCU, with DraftKings listing an over/under of 51.5. The Bears and Horned Frogs will square off at 6 p.m. CDT on Saturday, Oct. 17, at McLane Stadium.

Head coach Dave Aranda and Baylor (4-1, 2-0) return from their bye week following a dominant 55-19 road win over Arizona State on Oct. 3. The Bears are less than a foot away from being undefeated after coming up just short on a potential game-winning two-point conversion against Auburn in the season opener.

Meanwhile, things haven't gone nearly as smoothly in Fort Worth, where head coach Sonny Dykes and the Horned Frogs (2-3, 0-2) have stumbled out of the gate in Big 12 play with consecutive losses to UCF and No. 10 BYU. TCU also has a bye this past weekend before heading to Waco.

This year’s Revivalry theme is “Blackout on the Brazos,” which likely means the Bears will bring back the beloved anthracite uniforms. Baylor has worn them four times since reintroducing them at the start of the 2024 season, including in its thrilling 37-34 win over TCU that fall.

The rivalry dates back to 1899, with the two programs meeting 121 times in what stands as Texas's most-played rivalry. TCU holds a 60-54-7 advantage in the all-time series, while Baylor has managed just two victories over the Horned Frogs in the past decade, coming in 2019 and 2024. Despite TCU's recent dominance, the series has remained highly competitive, with six of the last eight meetings decided by seven points or fewer. That includes last year's matchup in Fort Worth, when the Bears fell short, 42-36.
