Baylor will welcome a total of six high school signees to campus later this week. Classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 8 and the group will begin offseason workouts with the team upon arrival in preparation for spring practice.

Gerry Bohanon‍ | Quarterback | Earle (AR) High School

Notable Offers: Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Louisville, LSU

Briefing: Big, sturdy quarterback who will have a lot of success with his feet at the college level. Big arm and quick release are his strengths throwing the football but will need to prove he can adjust to speed of the game in college from lower competition in Arkansas.

Christian Morgan‍ | Safety | Humble (TX) Porter H.S.

Notable Offers: Arizona State, Indiana, Northwestern, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt

Briefing: The nation's top athlete according to SPARQ (144.0). Morgan will translate to a physical safety with good speed who has the mindset of a linebacker and can cover in space. He is a raw athlete who will need time to develop mentally in college. Physically he's ready to play.

Casey Phillips‍ | Offensive Line | Franklin (TX) H.S.

Notable Offers: Minnesota, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech

Briefing: One of the top testing offensive linemen in the country according to SPARQ (96.72). Coming from a small program in Texas, Phillips was rarely asked to pass protect and spent a lot of time playing tight end as a senior. At 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, Phillips will need to add weight and grow accustomed to the physicality in the trenches.

Christoph Henle‍ | Tight End | Arlington (TX) The Oakridge School

Notable Offers: California, Illinois, Kentucky, Vanderbilt

Briefing: Henle has only been in the United State playing football since his sophomore year of high school. Physically ready at 6-5, 250 pounds, Henle will be asked to play a considerable amount of time in the spring and will likely be asked to play as a true freshman next fall.

Tyquan Thornton‍ | Wide Receiver | Miami (FL) Washington H.S.

Notable Offers: Florida, Georgia, Miami, Pittsburgh, Tennessee

Briefing: Fast. Fast. Fast. The former four-star Florida commit has a case to call himself the fastest signee, but would probably need a foot race to prove it. But even with his size at 6-foot-3, Thornton's ability to pluck the football on tape might be just as impressive.

JT Woods‍ | Safety | Cibolo (TX) Steele H.S.

Notable Offers: Houston, Navy, Yale

Briefing: Woods comes from the mold that defensive coordinator Phil Snow likes at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds. Before being asked to play exclusively on offense as a senior, Woods showed great willingness to hit and be a solid open field tackler. Understanding defenses shouldn't be an issue for Woods either.
