We got 2 sophomores on offense, and 2 sophomores on defense. The rest upper-classmen. So this excuse about having a young team ends today.

Unless peeps get hurt in fall camp...

Oh, and I really like our WR lineup. Though Nickelson is good and solid, I never thought him to be a difference maker. Having Hurd as an IR is gonna be like a Levi Norwood x10.

Imagine if Blake Lynch was still a WR,..would just be ridiculous the talent on the field in that position.

Thornton must be pretty studly to be a true freshman and on the 2nd team. I know a few of the older guys are getting over injuries but still...he must be good.

Opinions on the left side of the offensive line?

Hope Rhule learns from last season. Playing our youngins on offense has resulted into injuries...LETS RECAP! Examples: Rj Sneed , Gavin Holmes ... KEEP THEM HEALTHY PLEASE

My first impression, too. unfortunately the QB position has about the least experience. I'm curious how this points to 2019.

My thought exactly. I was looking at all those seniors in the starting line up. If we don't win this year Rhule can officially be happy that he turned this team back to the pre-briles years were we get excited about blowing out the Samfords of the world. If we can't win in 2018 I'm sure as hell not expecting us to win in 2019.
Snow better speed up his process, our defense was worse than Techs we have up 35 pts /game last year

I'm a little surprised at the position alignment of talent and the depth chart of the offensive line. I realize that this is just a starting point. It may reflect adherence to summer work, injuries, etc. but I trust the judgment of the staff.

Respect the game.

I'm not really worried about Brewer. He may not have an arm as strong as what we were used to in a Briles offense, but he can be effective. He just needs an O-Line to protect him, holes to be opened up for a running game, a defense that is respectable, and play calling worth a darn.

We for sure need to bring in another freshman QB in 2019, and a senior transfer as well. I'd prefer to have 4 QB's, with a bare absolute minimum of 3 scholarship QB's.
