Cornerback Timarcus Davis no longer with Baylor program
WACO, Texas - Matt Rhule confirmed at his first media session of fall camp on Friday afternoon that sophomore cornerback Timarcus Davis is no longer with the program. Davis will transfer according to Rhule.
As a true freshman Davis played in 11 games totaling six tackles while forcing and recovering a fumble. He posted a career-high two tackles against TCU in the final game of the 2017 season.
The College Station High School prospect signed with Baylor in 2017 over offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma State and others.
Davis is the fourth player to leave the program in the last two weeks, joining junior wide receiver Rajah Preciado, sophomore Demarco Artis and redshirt freshman Trevon Lewis.
