The Pumpers and Grey Pouponers are framing the defections this way:

1. Transferred due to lack of playing time.

2. Matt Rhule is freeing up scholarships for better recruits.

Bottom line is, something is amiss. Now that he has run off most all of the Briles players, it seems like for whatever reason his own recruits are bailing.

Will be interesting to see who tomorrow's transfer of the day might be.

This is what happens when you promise every recruit for two years that they will be starters. Some hold you accountable and leave when they find out it was just a recruiting ploy.

I suspect, we haven't seen the end of players leaving. So much for great recruiting. Now the staff has to recruit with something other than guaranteed playing time.

As of Feb of this year Dabo had already had 7 kids transfer out of Clemson. I don't know what their total number stands at now.

Pathetic. Please dont put Baylor and Clemson in the same breathe. The recruiting is 2 completely different levels. Clemson has a few guys transfer and no on notices. Guys transfer from here and Rhule will act like they were the key to the entire team. Difference between landing 4 and 5 star guys and hoping for them.

Ya think? Yesterday's transfer of the day was Timarcus Davis. The transfer of the day today is Justin Harris.

The Pumpers and Grey Pouponers are framing the defections this way:

1. Transferred due to lack of playing time.

2. Matt Rhule is freeing up scholarships for better recruits.

Bottom line is, something is amiss. Now that he has run off most all of the Briles players, it seems like for whatever reason his own recruits are bailing.

Will be interesting to see who tomorrow's transfer of the day might be.

Let me try to explain a little further. Perhaps the person you refer to was banned and it was not his or her choice to leave. It probably had very little to do with backbone. Hope this helps.

Pathetic. Please dont put Baylor and Clemson in the same breathe. The recruiting is 2 completely different levels. Clemson has a few guys transfer and no on notices. Guys transfer from here and Rhule will act like they were the key to the entire team. Difference between landing 4 and 5 star guys and hoping for them.


Yep. Li'l Matty and his "Process" should never be confused/compared to Top Tier Programs such as Clemson or any for that matter.

With all of the debate regarding Baylor football at the end of the day, week, month, year, decade or century BU will be the same as it has been for the last sixty plus years. BU's has been an average second tier team in it's good years and pathetic it's bad years.

For one short "millisecond" we had something to feel really good about on a national level.

IF we have millennials playing on the team then we are in really bad shape...... Current college age students (18-22) are not part of the millennial generation anymore. They are the igen/ gen x or whatever it is called.

Correct. Millenials were born 1994 or before. Not sure which researcher has won the naming rights for post-millenials or iGens.

iGens are insecure and would rather play football on an app. Happy if they achieve or see on snapchat that their friend achieved. Throw in their trait as a socially inclusive group of fiscal conservatives and coaches have their work cut out for them. Homesickness fits the bill.
