Baylor Volleyball announces 2018 TV schedule

WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball will play a program-best 13 televised games, including 10 at the Ferrell Center and three on the road, announcedMonday by the program.

The “Voice of the Bears” John Morris returns for his fifth year as play-by-play announcer while former All-American and BU record holder Katie Staiger joins the broadcast team as a color analyst for the season.

Nine home games will be carried on the FOX family of networks, starting with Aug. 24’s matchup against LSU at 7 p.m. CT on Fox Sports Southwest Plus (FSSW+).

Baylor’s nonconference dual with No. 9 Wisconsin will be featured on Fox Sports Southwest (FSSW) at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 7.

BU opens its conference schedule on Sept. 19, facing Texas Tech at the Ferrell Center at 7 p.m. on FSSW.

The Bears then head to Ames, Iowa to take on No. 21 Iowa State on Sept. 22 on Fox Sports Network (FSN). Four days later, BU faces third-ranked Texas at 7 p.m. on the Longhorn Network (LHN) in Austin.

The Bears return home to host conference opponent Oklahoma on Friday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. on ESPNU and TCU for a Oct. 10 matchup at 6 p.m. on FSSW. The TV schedule continues as Baylor faces Kansas State on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. on FSSW+.

BU will make the short trip to Ft. Worth on Oct. 24 and play TCU at 7 p.m. on FSSW+ for its final televised road contest. Baylor will then host Kansas on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. on FSSW+ and 21st-ranked Iowa State on Fox Sports GO (FSGO) on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.

The Bears wrap up their TV schedule with a Nov. 16 contest against No. 3 Texas at 6 p.m. and a Nov. 21 match against West Virginia at 7 p.m. Both matches will be on FSSW+.

All other Baylor home games will be broadcast with live video, and all road games with have live audio on BaylorBears.com/allaccess.
