QB, Shane Buechelle...
"I wouldn't say it's a bragging rights game. But it is an important game for us to go out and win, as well as any game we play."

"This game, it will be high energy. It will be really competitive. I think it will be a lot of fun for both sides to go out and play this game."

WR, Jacorey Warrick...
“You know, there's definitely a lot of excitement flowing around. We're back at home in DKR. They are undefeated coming in, highly ranked. Two in-state schools."

"Definitely a lot of excitement and a lot of hype around the game."

WR, Dorian Leonard...
"I'm so ready for this game. Going into practice this week, I'm going to try to be the 'hype man' all week, try to keep everybody up. Having this game, there's so much anticipation, like, waiting for it."

"When I knew they were coming in, they're talking about their defense, as an offensive player, they're saying their defense is pretty good, I take that as a challenge. I'm going to try to do my best to make plays on offense against them, try to get a win for us at home."

"It's just motivation. Going against them, it's going to be a battle. As an offense, we're going out looking to score as many points as we need to."

DL, Paul Boyette...
"Coach Strong, he has words. Last week was 'challenge yourself'. I took it on myself last week to challenge myself and play to my best abilities. This week I'm still going to do the same thing. I have to challenge Poona, Chris, everybody on the defense from the standpoint of going out there and give Baylor a good test."

OL, Kent Perkins...
"Me particular, I don't pay attention to rankings or none of that. If a man can bleed just like me, he's human. You know what I'm saying?"

"Like I said, we've been preparing for Baylor since yesterday. We're all fired up, man. We know what we got to accomplish in this game. It's a great team. We going to prepare. We going to control the things we can control, which is to prepare, work hard, just come out in this game with energy. We going to lay everything on the line."

S, Dylan Haines...
"I'm definitely not scared. When you get a team like that, you're just excited, especially if you play DB."

"Obviously playing a team like Kansas State, they're going to have to throw when they have to, second-and-long, third down. This team is going to come in here and try to air it out."

"I'm just excited because it means more opportunities to get my hands on the ball, make plays. I'm in the back end. We know they're a great team. We don't doubt that at all. They're not going to hold back for anyone. They're going to come in here and give us a great game."

"We're undefeated at home still. We can keep that streak going. If we can do that, we can win at least six."

"We just know it's a great challenge for us. We expect to see a great team, a great game. We know if we can go out there and play a great game, we know it's going to be a close one.
Obviously, last year I didn't go to the Baylor game because I hurt my knee. I got to watch the brawl live on TV. That was exciting. I was mad I didn't get to make the trip for that game."

"Yeah, there's certain energy on this game, who is the best team in Texas. I think it was sparked a few years ago when RGIII made the comment that Baylor has owned Texas. There's that sense of pride that you want to be the best team in Texas because you know that's where some of the best athletes come from, is Texas."

"There's definitely a certain energy around this game that you don't get with other games. Now this year with them coming here, them being such a great team, nationally ranked, we know it's going to present a great challenge for us."

"We love being the underdog. We have a chance to go out and give them a really good game. I think it's a game that can go either way. If we play especially well on defense, which we have been at home, we can make it a really close game."

LB, Tim Cole...
"You got two Texas teams. You want to make sure that you're the best team that day so you can have the bragging rights for the year."

"We just excited to have a good Baylor team to play against in front of our home field, in front of our home fans. It should be a good one."

OL, Connor Williams...
"Baylor's a really good team right now. We're completely focused on them. Now it's Baylor week. We're going to give it our best shot. Last year was last year. We've moved on. Now it's time to go play them."

S, Jason Hall...
"You know, they got a high-powered offense. You got to honor that. They got good receivers that can play. Us as a defense, we've got to stay watching film and constantly think of everything that they could possibly do. You got to play percentages, tendencies of what they do."

Clearly some respect for us in those comments. I can respect that. I sure hope our coaches are preparing our guys as if we are the underdog.

Dylan Haines has to be the dumbest quote in the Big 12. Everytime they put a mic near his face, straight stupid comes out.

Hey Dylan, take a look at which team had the top two rushing performances vs. UT since Chucky took over. I'll give you a hint: they're both the team that you said is going to air it out this week.
