Two trips to Waco and new commit Gavin Byers knew Baylor was his home

Colleyville (TX) Heritage offensive lineman Gavin Byers‍ (6-5, 296) gave his verbal pledge to the Baylor coaching staff on Tuesday evening and officially shut down his recruitment. He held offers from Arkansas and Syracuse along with attention from several other programs, but two trips to Waco in the first three months of 2019 and Byers new Baylor was the place for him.
