Speed is always an argument until it is put on paper or settled in a series of races to give each participant an opportunity at a best day. Even after a best day, the paper trail of times with comparable wind results can show a different runner remains fastest. Here are some of the fastest Bears and why they could claim to be the fastest Bear on the team.


Kalon Barnes‍  threw down a 10.04 in the 100 and a 20.55 in the 200 at the State Meet in 2018.
