At the end of the first quarter, the Baylor defense had given up 2 first downs and 37 yards in total offense on 15 plays. At halftime, the Bears had given up a total of 4 first downs and 79 yards of total offense on 29 plays (2.72 yards per play). That was a pretty dominant first half. For the entire game, Baylor only allowed 102 yards passing the lowest total since allowing just 31 yards to Rice in 2016.
