Baylor an icebreaker for talented Houston DB Trevon Lewis

Monday was a good day for Houston Lamar’s Trevon Lewis. A few days after being named the Houston Touchdown Club’s Defensive Player of the Year following his senior season, the cornerback picked up his first big-time offer from Baylor University.

For Lewis, the offer is an affirmation that his hard work is finally paying off.

“I put in a lot of work, and when you put in a lot of work, you check for results," Lewis said. "I think this is the start to something great.
