KD seriously has 12 catches for 210, Boise just giving him 10 yards a catch now

This O-line needs to get it together. Coach Rhule can't get here soon enough when it comes to these yahoos. Unfortunately there's no Drango to keep these idiots in line.

How does the long snapper pick up a penalty?

I would say KB has called a good game so far. It's almost conservative in terms of ball control, but I like it. Tempo feels in rhythm.

Smith is similar to Petty. The two biggest differences:

-Petty had a MUCH better deep ball (maybe the best in CFB)
-Zach is better in the pocket or at least should grow and become far better in the pocket

Petty struggled to put touch on the deep ball. I still have PTSD from all the bombs he overthrew. Zach has the arm but needs to learn the touch that really only RG3 ever consistently offered (for 1 season).

I will always prefer a mobile QB and ZS/BP were never gonna be that guy. We can succeed without it but it sure makes every other offensive player's job easier. Just me 2 cents.

Each of these guys brought something different. I enjoyed watching all of them including Florence and Russell. Give smith a year or two of seasoning he's going to be great. Like griffin, he'll have more playing time than most of our other players.

Biggest difference: Smith is a TRUE FRESHMAN!

This kid was playing a level or two up from six-man football a year ago and now he's guiding this Baylor offense toward a bowl victory. I get that you weren't meaning it be condescending toward Zach, and I also get the comparison on principle. But in fairness, no one knows what Zach could become, and comparing him to a redshirt junior with many years of experience in the offense isn't fair in and of itself.

Such a weird fumble but great job by the Defense.

They have been pretty brutal on Shock, especially Pollack. Is there really something to the head injuries leading to his attitude issues or is he just showing his true colors this year?

I think the network probably tells these guys to bring up certain points. This year skipping bowl games is a hot topic for some reason

Unfortunately Zach will have to learn a new offense.

So happy for these players to go out like this and Jim Grobe to get a bowl win.

Completely agree. I also think the coaches realized there will be nowhere soft to land and need to show they actually know how to coach when they aren't being whiny asshats.

That win in that fashion was an unexpected last Christmas present. Ready to move on to what will hopefully be an exciting 5 weeks of recruiting.

anyone catch Stan V right after the game and that painfully awkward segway about the game.... I haven't consistently watched since they left us out of the play-offs, but before I could reach for the remote, I heard him randomly stammering about our field, and "our nice little city" and just strange....

Show prep. It's a thing. A thing that Stan apparently doesn't do.

I guess, but man... I have seen them ad- lib before, and even change mid sentence when the video feed doesn't match up with what they were thinking it would, but to me it seemed as though he had something qued up (in his head) about us blowing the game or something, and then when it didn't happen he was caught off guard.
