Recruiting Notes: Upset of the season as Tompkins knocks off Katy

What a game, what a game. Tompkins beat Katy 24-19 to hand the Tigers its first district loss since 2008, that streak was 75 wins in a row. Both teams are very solid and well coaches but Tompkins speed out produced Katy’s size in this game, that was the difference. It was apparent from the opening snap that Tompkins was going to have success with off-tackle runs, quick throws in space, and deep shots down the field.
